I’m really impressed with the Shark HP302 air purifier! It does a fantastic job of capturing 99.98% of particles, including dust and odors. The 5-year filter is a huge money-saver, and I love that I don’t have to worry about frequent replacements. The odor-neutralizing technology works wonders, and the purifier runs quietly. CLEANEST AIR OUR HOME HAS EVER HAD!
I looked and researched air purifiers for a couple weeks after our old one quit performing. I kept coming back to this Shark and bit the bullet and paid the $300 for it. After the first day of running it, I had zero regrets! It works perfectly! We have it in our living room which is off of our kitchen and we keep it on AUTO. When we’re cooking, the Shark will drop from 100 where our air was clean, the fan will kick up a notch or two, depending on how low the numbers went, and it really will clean the cooking orders out! We have allergies and this has helped a lot! We own a home that is over 100yrs old and I used to go around the house dusting all the time and I notice there’s barely any dust on my furniture. I also notice if I spray Febreze air freshener or fabric refresher that the Shark senses it and will kick on and suck my air freshener out. lol I love Scentsy and their wax melts so when I use the one that is closest to the Shark I will just turn the air purifier off for a while because it will sense it and drop to yellow or even red and kick the fans on and clean the nice smell right out of the living room where I have that one sitting. Not complaining, but sometimes I like to smell my Scentsy! Also, there’s different speeds that the fan will run on and even on the highest speed it’s not loud at all. My house has never smelled so clean. We have two 70lb boxers and it has helped tremendously with having pets. When I’m gone for hours and come home, I notice that I don’t smell any signs of owning a dog when I walk into the house and my husband said the same thing when he came home from work the first night we owned it. There’s a light up ring around the numbers on the front that will be green when it’s clean, turn yellow when it’s getting bad and turn red when it’s really bad. We leave ours on AUTO so we don’t have to do anything, the Shark does the air cleaning for us. The never change filter is huge plus! Those filters can be so expensive so it’s nice that we don’t have that expense a couple times a year! The only thing that I’d say would be a “con”, if you want to call it that, and we honestly don’t even care about it, is that air freshener thing on top of the machine. We have never smelled anything come from that and I doubt we will buy new replacement neutralizer cartridges for it. I don’t see the point of it. I’m just an ordinary person with pets and an older home that PAID $300 for this machine and did not receive it for free to write a review like others do with stuff. If you’re looking to buy a new air purifier for your home, I highly recommend this Shark! We sat the empty box in the office and thought we would hold on to it for the 30 days that we have to return something to Amazon just in case we didn’t like it but we threw it away the first week we used it.

I should start off by saying I love this air purifier as it has already made a noticeably difference in air quality in my house. The auto setting works well and it kicks on and off just fine as needed. It can be easily moved around even though it seems quite large in the ad photos. Only reason I’m not giving this product the 5th star is the noise level; when it is running full speed I can’t hear anything but the purifier inside my house. My fiance was knocking at the front door the other day and I left him outside because I couldn’t hear him LOL!
