Overall I like the pants. I just got them today and so far they seem like good quality. They are a heavier material (90% cotton, 10% polyester) so going to be warmer than I wanted for walking in the summer. And they're longer than I wanted but I'm also short so most "capris" fit me like ankle length. What I'm not super happy about is the width of the leg at the bottom. The model's picture shows them to be somewhat tapered but they're actually a straight leg as you can see in my photos.

    1) FIT -- I wear and 18W but purchased a 2X so they would be roomy -- they fit just right on me

    2) FABRIC -- these are soft right out of the package -- I personally did not need to prewash them -- no dye sensitivity (good thing too -- I was sick and wanted comfortable lounge wear).

    3) FABRIC -- it says French Terry?? Nothing terry about these, in my estimation. This is a nice quality knit suitable for yoga, lounging, etc. But NOT THICK at all -- more summer weight.

    4) SHIPPING -- very fast via Amazon Prime, individually wrapped

    WHY DID I WAIT SO LONG TO BUY THESE -- THEY ARE SO COMFORTABLE -- I am long wasted -- they go UP MY BACK properly!! yeah for us plus size women!!!

    5) Precautions -- 1st thing, out of the bag -- adjust & KNOT THE ENDS of the draw string to your HIP SIZE -- so you can just slip them on and off -- if the string goes INSIDE the metal eyelets it will require a major effort to dig it out!! KNOT THE ENDS!!

    I only bought two in black -- to replace a pair from a different brand that are 4 years old. The capri length is easier for me as a little old lady to LIFT my foot and get in and out of for at home lounging than a full length jog pant.

    SUMMER WEIGHT FABRIC -- WELL MADE -- GREAT VALUE.

    Update Dec 2020 -- 2nd purchase -- the first two are holding up well to washings. The drawstring, be sure to KNOT IT or tie it tight before every washing, and watch the ends don't pull inside the waist when putting them off or on. I did TIE THEM when I first got them, and I also check the knot before and after each time that I wash them. VERY COMFORTABLE. Easier to put on and take off than ankle length.

    I live in these, love this length. Perfect year round and thicker than most...

    So I bought 2 pairs of the Hanes terry pants that are the same fit as these capris and they fit like a dream. So when I saw the capris I purchased the black and gray ones. They also fit extremely well just like the pants do. They come down and are pretty much a straight leg capri. I really like the black as it goes with most things and the grey I like as well, but they fit a little different. They are both great capris and I would recommend trying them as I have and I think you'll find them as comfortable and durable as I do. Only one thing is they get pilling on the bum and between the thighs after a few wears, but at 12 bucks a piece I just buy new ones. Thanks

    •They fit TTS, but if you want to be able to throw them in the dryer or you're wider in the hips/thighs, you might want to size up. I will definitely be hang-drying these so they don't shrink.

    •The waist is fully adjustable as the ties are actually functional.

    •As others have mentioned, these are pretty thick, so keep that in mind. It's 100 degrees here and I probably won't be wearing them until it cools down a bit.

Not thin and drapey, but with a little body and thickness, but also not as thick as heavy T-shirt or sweats material. They washed nicely and did not shrink. They have a straight leg that is a little wide so they hang nicely. They stretch like a durable T-shirt material but hold their shape. The knees do not stretch out and look weird after you wear them all day. You actually can dress these up or down or just lounge. I am a girl with hips and these are flattering.

    I don't really wear pants, just usually elastic waist draw string capris because I don't like zippers and look silly in leggings. These are thick fabric like a sweatshirt and attractive enough to wear to work, although I took a point off because they are kind of a funny size -- the small was too small and the medium is kind of too big, but actually looks better on me (I am usually XS or S, or US 2). They hit a bit below the knee and look good with knee socks, a T-shirt, and a cardigan. Great big pockets. The only thing is they do wear out easily in the wash, fading a bit for black, typical of sweatshirt fabric. Otherwise a great stretchy pant with a nice cut and good functionality! I wish they made these in beige and heathered grey, but I have black ones and will buy more.

    The bottom has a nice, slight flare which looks great compared to normal wide legs or most capris. I am thin and petite but curvy so it's a good style.

    I have 4 pairs of these, and would by more in a flash. These do shrink when put in the dryer so I suggest if you want the length to let them air dry. I don’t workout in them so I can’t say how they would last in that department. For how much these cost they are a steal for the quality. They are so comfortable have pockets that are fairly sized. If you are looking for something that’s not super hot but still nice for lounging in the summer but these! I’m also 5’6 and 170 lbs and wearing size XL in all four pairs. Well done Hanes
