    This product is very interesting. I'm not a vegan, but I like finding plant based alternatives to foods I like, and cheese is one of my favorites, so I tried this. I don't think I'd call this a cheese replacement at all, it doesn't really taste, smell, or feel like cheese. I feel like it could be better branded as it's own new type of dip or sauce, because I enjoyed it less when my expectations were set to "cheese", especially as "cheddar" is in the name. It tastes decent, seems like a good amount of the flavor comes from nutritional yeast, which is savory in a similar way to cheese, but it's not too close. The texture is a bit strange, it's thick and very oily, and when you heat it up you can hear the oil sizzling and cracking. I think my biggest issue is with the smell, I actually somewhat liked the taste, but the smell was just offputting for some reason. Every time I opened the jar and smelled it, all 3 flavors, it made me not really want to eat it. But then I heated some up, and dipped some chips in it, and it tasted just alright. I don't hate it, but even when I'm in a snacking mood, I don't have any desire to eat any more of it.
