Wow, this is the best device to make hot chocolate.I know the description says Milk Frother, and yes, that's what it does best, but it also makes a very smooth and fast hot chocolate.I added the milk and a hot chocolate mix (actual chocolate pieces, not powder) and started the machine and in 2 minutes (it stops automatically) I hade a nice hot cup of cocoa and it tasted smooth, hot and delicious. Afterwards I added a little water and run another cycle and the machine was clean. The inside is non-stick and so chocolate or milk will easily wash off after use.It also works, of course, great as a milk frother. In fact it has four modes (hot milk foam, hot milk, cold milk foam, and hot chocolate). The difference is the heat applied and the speed of the mixer on the bottom. for hot milk or chocolate it runs at slower speeds or is off completely and for the cold foam it runs fast but does not heat. All modes work very well.Best part is that it times itself and turns off when the desired result is achieved, which for me is a perfect smooth cup of cocoa.

I know the description says Milk Frother, and yes, that's what it does best, but it also makes a very smooth and fast hot chocolate.

I normally reserve cappuccinos for the weekend because I tend not to be awake enough on a Tuesday to both make espresso and froth up some milk. This milk frother makes the latter much more doable since I no longer have to heat the milk separately or pay close attention to how I'm frothing.

The instructions aren't super great and it comes with two accessories whose utility remains a mystery to me. But it works well and froths quite nicely -- no oversized bubbles or scorched milk.
It says to use room temperature milk, but there's no way I'm going to do that. The first time I put cold milk in it and set it to "froth", the milk got warm, but not as hot as I like it. So what I now do is first run it on the "just warm the milk" setting, then I do the "froth" setting. It's perfect that way. I don't bother switching out the piece at the bottom from one setting to the other.
