Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It does a job well enough. It uses (2) AA batteries. It uses the button on top and it only stays on as long as the button is pressed down, it stops frothing upon release. It takes a little longer to froth than my favorite but it doesn't take long. If you're looking for a good value vs a quality item, this would work. If you're looking for great, fast, rechargeable frother look elsewhere expect to pay a little more.

**UPDATE** OK I need to pull a mea culpa.. The device I received did not come with 2-AA batteries.. I popped-in 2-AA batteries here and used the device to base my review upon... what I did NOT realize was that the batteries I used were about 93% dead... the device died a couple of days ago (after daily use) and with FRESH AA batteries this has PLENTY of power to get that milk/cream frothing! There are higher RPMs (at least it feels that way to me) than the other device and plenty to get a larger vessel of liquid spinning.
Fear not - this has plenty of power and great looks/aesthetics! Froth on!!!
**ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW** I have recently fallen in love with these frothing gizmos.. but I don't use them exclusively for their intended purpose. I have been using them for mixing in my sugar in my coffee (we use raw sugar) as well as mixing in the milk/half-and-half. Yes, I have also used in a separate vessel to froth up the milk but I'm lazy and just do all in the same coffee cup in stages.
The unit I received is matte black and looks super cool. I do like the plunger on/off making this a breeze to use with one hand. I will say that the unit I purchased from Williams Sonoma (also uses 2-AA batteries) is significantly more powerful than this one as well as having a thicker blending shaft. I have had a few other frothing doodads with the thin shaft and they get bent very easily. This one is not as thin as the cheaper ones but not as robust as the higher grade ones. Not a slam at all.. just a comparison to other devices at a higher price point. This unit is around $9.00 as of January 4, 2024. The one from Williams Sonoma was $20 as of January 4, 2024. Is the one from WS 2x as good? Not necessarily.. is this one 1/2 as good as the one from WS? Not necessarily..
For the price of these, the functionality, and plethora of color options you really can't go wrong with these units.

First, I only have an unfair comparison to a pitcher frother made by the Australian company that begins with a B, which I unconditionally love. This is a small battery operated (2 AA batteries) device. When you place the batteries, make sure to unfold the ribbon and place the AAs on top of it. The battery well is deep, and without the ribbon to help pull them out, you might spend some time fishing for the lower one. Second, I usually use soy milk and used to always use the big national brand, until they changed it and my beloved frother turned it to big sudsy bubbles instead of a creamy whipped froth. So I found a warehouse shelf stable brand, and the manufactured seems to have broken that one now too. So, I tried this little whip to see what magic it could produce. It’s well made, easy to use, the power switch is on top, and the handle is ergonomically designed so it just fits comfortably my hand. I tried it with several different kinds of milk. It was OK on whole milk, made a soft foam. Regular oat milk seemed a bit better, with a little more froth. The broken brand of warehouse soymilk and the big national brand achieved a bit of froth that looked good for a minute, but broke down very quickly to ugly suds. Not the fault of this little whip, it actually got better results than my pitcher frother, so kudos for that. It worked fairly well on my newfound generic store brand of original organic (it has to have both of those words) soy milk, but not as well as the pitcher. Bottom line, for the price, ease of use, lifetime warranty this is a nice tool to upgrade your favorite drink.

It's fine. It does the job. I am disappointed it is not rechargeable. The batteries run out fairly quickly on it, so I'm fairly constantly using AAs up in this thing. I have rechargeable AAs, but still. If you just use regular batteries this would be fairly wasteful.

Just got the New England Stories Powerful Milk Frother Handheld Foam Maker in Aqua, and it's a game-changer! This mini whisk drink mixer creates creamy froth for my coffee, cappuccino, latte, matcha, and even hot chocolate. It's compact, easy to use, and doesn't require a stand. The aqua color adds a pop of fun to my kitchen decor too. Love it!

This small little milk frother is small and convenient. I got it for making matcha cappuccino. I tried it on some cold skim milk to experiment and it was a disappointing froth. With hot skim milk it was acceptable but it took a minute or two. The matcha cappuccino was just right. Its not as powerfull as other frothers I have had but it gets the job done.
The frother cleaning is not quite what the add says. I had to brush the end to get the milk skin off the end. Most things come off with just a spin in hot water and soap but some things are more difficult. I had to brush the end to get the milk skin off the end. It's important to clean it quickly because if something dries it will be very hard to clean that active end.
The frother does not stand up on its own and there is no stand that comes with it. The result is that you have to lay it on the table when you are not using it. I do not have any problem with that, but some might think it inconvenient. I do not use it often enough to think it a problem.
This frother met my expectations and I would recommend it to anybody that needs a small frother from time to time. The price is very good for the value.

This little hand blender works great for light items, such as chocolate milk, coco, coffee etc. It doesn't have much power for doing much thicker consistencies. It does very well however for these smaller tasks. The battery lasts a decent amount of time, and doesn't take too long to recharge. The clean up is quick and easy to do. It is a nice item that gets smoother consistent mixes than by hand.
