The thickest gel I've ever had and that's not good
Sea moss gel has become a recent staple in my diet. In that time, I’ve tried a few different brands and flavors, and this sea moss gel is by far my least favorite. If you’ve ever tried unflavored sea moss gel, it kind of tastes like a clean aquarium to me which is a bit unpleasant to eat on its own. The added cane sugar and agave nectar of this sea moss gel takes away the “aquarium” taste, but oddly leaves it tasting like nothing. There are no other added flavors, so the added sweetness just neutralizes the fishy flavor. That’s a good thing but where are the added flavors? The listing mentions 14 but there aren’t any choices when ordering and no added flavors on the ingredients. Now, something tasting like nothing isn’t the worst thing, actually, the worst thing about this sea moss gel is its texture. It is the thickest sea moss gel I’ve ever encountered leaving it impossible to stir into or spread onto anything. (Please see my spoon defying gravity in the photo.) The only way to use this gel is if you blend into a smoothie which I don’t do on a daily basis. Or you could choose to eat it right off the spoon but it’s so thick, you almost have to chew it which feels, quite frankly, kind of gross. IF you pull out your blender every day, this gel may work well for you. If not, I would order elsewhere.

Not sure what benefits I am supposed to see but the taste isn’t bad. Taste semi sweet on its own but I do mix it in my teas and orange juices. Helps with bloating and helps with cleansing the system and digestion when taken consistently.

Just love the taste of it. it's not sweet, sour or pungent. it's just magical. It's easy to spread or just take spoonful right out of the jar. Sea Moss has benefits and I hope i reap the benefits once jar is finished.

I usually take sea moss in liquid drops but decided to try this gel. I tried it in smoothies, on toast and straight out the jar, and as a tea. My favorite is as a tea. Being that it is thick you may need to add some warm water and dilute a spoon full. I don't use any artificial sweeteners because it defeats the purpose of using sea moss. I really enjoy this as a nice cup of tea instead of coffee. I am looking to order another bottle. The taste is a hint of mango but if you have used or prepare sea moss it natural has a slight ocean taste, this is very faint. It doesn't have an odor nor taste like fish.

Several years ago I was turned on to a product called Sea Moss Gel. I absolutely loved it. It was smooth and similar to lemon curd in consistency. I've tried quite a few different brands and most of them were comparable. Then I tried this brand. Instead of a spreadable gel this one is more of a big blob like plastic. I tried warming it up and it stayed the some. I like to have it in ice cream where it blends in. This one the spoonful just sat there in A big lump. I'm not even going to get into how awful this stuff tastes. There are many sea moss gels that are wonderful but this is one that is off my list. Major disappointment!

This is like the thickest jello with sand added in. It tastes fine, but the texture is so odd I couldn't swallow, it felt like I was swallowing Vaseline. Very odd.

I am a raw foodist and count on pure foods like this to make my meals taste better than the average American diet. I have never purchased a premade sea moss gel, instead I’ve just made my own. This turned out exactly like mine, except for it tastes a little better!
I use it in recipes, such as making nut cheeses and desserts. I appreciate having it and a nice container where it will last for a month in the fridge and I don’t have to go through the extra effort of making my own.
I have eaten it with a spoon several times, and haven’t minded the flavor at all. For me, this product is more about adding the correct texture to recipes and this does exactly that. It is an excellent product!

OALSE Sea Moss Gel: Good quality sea moss gel. I like that it comes in a glass jar that I can reuse. The original flavor has a sweet flavor to it. I usually like the ones that have a mango or berry flavor. With this sea moss I like to mix into my smoothies and soups. This sea moss does not contain any preservatives or artificial colors. It is sweetened with agave nectar and cane sugar. This is great for daily use for my family and I.
