I purchased extreme hold clear tape and applied the clear tape over the reflective tape to make sure the reflective tape did not move.     I purchased this tape to be used on my car bicycle racks to make them more visual at night. After sticking the tape on my racks they are very noticeable now when other car lights shine on them. I am now not as worried when transporting my bikes at night or in bad weather. The only con is that the adhesive is not as strong as I would like it to be as some pieces have come off after about a year of use. Not a big deal as I have lots of extra tape left to replace the worn sections.
