I ordered this because I just had surgery on my shoulder. And I wanted heat before I did PT., Instead of jumping in the shower all the time. Per previous reviews, which I did read, the cord does come out of the heating pad too easily. I don’t feel that the heating pad is heavy enough on my shoulder/neck either. I think I’m gonna return it. It warms up OK but I think I need it hotter.

    So great. Really. It makes a huge difference. I work from home, the house really cools down at night (which is when I now work most) and am prone to migraines caused by muscle spasms. If you get these type of migraines, you know what cold does to you. I just put this on and keep on working! And the migraine is averted! So snuggly and soft, I may just nod off.     The timer is absolutely awesome. Put it on when you go to bed. Pick your time. Pick your temperature. It’s like a big warm hug. I think six is too warm for me so I do five or sometimes number four. Neck and shoulders very relaxed. You can also use it on your lower back, the shape is fine for this.I fall asleep every time I use it usually within minutes. BEWARE any animals you have will find you and get in there with you Very good investment if you need a heating pad anyway, get this one!
