This left my legs smoother than an electric shaver, though not quite as close as a razor. It takes a bit of trial and error to find the optimal pressure and maneuvering. As advised, I started on dry legs and got good results. My skin is sensitive and felt a bit irritated immediately afterwards, but improved with moisturizing. This will be great for travel. The instructions are so minimal that I knocked off a star, but the comments from others provided helpful guidance.
Adding to my initial review as I've been using this for several months - and I like it more and more, and I've added a star. After the first time it has not irritated my skin, and it leaves me legs as smooth as a razor. It's a bit tricky to go around ankles, knees, etc - I wish they had a different shape for this, like a curved flat wand, and I usually touch up on these spots with a razor. This is a great product - highly recommended.

Technically it works… Updated.
So… technically it works I guess. It took my legs from “sasquatch in winter” to “mostly hairless.” I do still have quite a few long stray hairs here and there. And it took a lot longer than just shaving would have.Perhaps I started with too much shag. I’ll keep trying it and update my review after regular use.Update 9/2023:Upgraded to 4 stars.I’m still using it and have noticed I reach for it more often than the razor now! I have very fine body hair, so it may differ for others, but I’ve noticed my hair regrowth is much less prickly when I use this. It grows in much softer than when I use a razor. My legs also feel super smooth after using it, much more so than shaving - probably due to the extra exfoliation it provides.It still requires just as much, if not more, time and effort than shaving - and it isn’t good at tighter contours, particularly around my ankles.All in all, I do like this device and would purchase again if I lost mine. I’m updating my review from 3 stars to 4. Still not perfect due to the difficulty with body contours, but overall a pretty great tool!
