This is the first time I've gotten acrylics. I've done gel and dip powders on my nails before but never acrylics.
I think if I didn't have that experience, this kit would be a bit more confusing. Everything came very nicely packaged. The design of this kit is lovely. Everything fits nicely into the box, and it's very easy to use and keep them in there as you're working with them.
These nails are a pretty decent length, I don't think I could handle anything else longer than this, one issue that I had is that they're very curved, and I have pretty flat nail beds, so it was a chore trying to get them to stick to my nail beds. Once I figured out how to place my hands, everything went smoothly. I was easily able to find sizes that fit my nails though. That is definitely a plus, and there are tons more nails in the box.
The nails look like they are very pink, but they are a fairly natural pink.
I think the kit assumes that the user knows how to already apply acrylics, so perhaps more detail on how to get them to fit to the nail bed would be helpful. Also some tips about how to get the nails off after the user is finished wearing them would be helpful as well for users.
Overall, the chemicals did not have too strong of a smell which is a plus, and the directions were easy to use.
The UV light is a plug-in only, so you can't charge it and then unplug it. That's another downside for me, but the light works very well, and helps to limit the amount of unnecessary UV exposure to your entire hand.
I would certainly recommend this to somebody who has worked doing gel nails, or to somebody who already knows how to do acrylics, because it is pretty user friendly. Somebody who has only polished their nails with traditional nail polish would probably need some assistance.
I would definitely purchase another kit from this company. I really enjoyed it and it felt like a professional salon experience but for cheap.
