Inconsistent sizing, got a run during the first wear
The first pair I wore was amazing and comfortable fit. The next two were tighter and shorter. One had a run/ hole in the toe by the end of the day. It's hard to find comfortable socks for extra wide calves so I was excited to try these. They're inexpensive for compression socks but the inconsistency is disappointing.

    I'm a healthcare worker who is on his feet 13+ hours each shift getting 15k-20k steps daily. I also have lymphedema in my left leg due to surgical trauma. With both of these issues compression socks are a must. The $80 pair prescribed to me by my doctor are nearly impossible to put on so I never wear them and the ones I got at the store leave my toes hurting because the feet part is too tight (I'm a US size 12W in men's). The largest part of my calf is 21 inches in diameter so I purchased the 3x and they fit perfectly. They are super easy to get on and have just enough graduated compression to help but not too much that my knees feel strangled. My main issue is that the feet part is too long (wild!) but seeing as I have big flippers that doesn't bother me too much. The ankle compression could also be a little tighter but I think it'll still be right enough to reduce most of the swelling. I'll definitely be purchasing these again.

    These socks were great. They provided compression, but still fit around my calves. Or so I thought.

    After wearing them for a while, I've noticed that they don't really work. They provide compression, but in the wrong areas. Instead of compressing most at the ankle and then loosening as they go up, they were loose fitting at the ankle and most compressive at the top. They made the swelling in my ankles much worse as a result, trapping blood further down my leg. They are comfortable, but as compression socks, they aren't very useful.

    Part of me wonders if these were actually standard-calf compression socks that were a size larger than I fit. That would explain the 'correct' fit on my calves and looseness in the ankle.
