I have tried a few of these aftermarket collections, and have been disappointed in all of them, until now. This is advertised as a GM assortment, but it is better than that. It is the right sizes for GM cars, but instead of the pull out pins like GM has stock, it has the really nice threaded pins like BMW/Mini have in key places. So instead of trying to get in there and pry out a flush pin, you can use your screw gun and just unthread them without drama, breakage, or damaging some adjacent surface. They end up being a lot more reusable this way. Note that some of the other rivets on Amazon look like they are thread in, but they aren't. So I was happy to see these were done right.
Those threaded pin versions come in two rivet body sizes (6mm and 8mm) and three rivet shoulder sizes (15mm, 18mm, and 20mm). Which is another nice choice, as the 18mm ones I had from another company were too small for a few spots I needed them on my 2012 Cadillac CTS. Then there are three other kinds of connectors, the "furry push pin" looking one, the interior panel locking one, and the insert that takes a screw version. All dimensions are nicely labelled in the case for each part.
The plastic seems better in these compared to the other ones I have, which break really easily when flexed. These flex out and back without breaking.
I don't know how they will age, and if they will get brittle. But the factory ones do that also, so even if they do, this is $10 for a nice pile of pieces, so just chuck in a new one if they break when you are taking them apart (which given they are threaded, is less likely anyway). I paid $15 for just 5 of the genuine BMW versions for the mini, and these seem just as nice as those are.
So, anyway, these are keepers for sure.
