Took care of business for me.

Light flash. Powers up. Goes into setup mode like its ready. But does nothing, when press button to start.
Threw it in the trash so I won't be tempted to waste any more time. Essentially paid for a 12v power supply.

Not much to say. It worked for me.
    No problems.

Picked this up to clone out an aged 5400rpm HDD and swap to a NVME SSD. Worked like a charm, instructions were ... adequate. I liked that I could re-use this enclosure as an external drive bay, to backup the original drive and format it on a separate computer prior to finishing the job.

I recently purchased the M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure Adapter, and it has exceeded all my expectations! Here are some of the reasons why I highly recommend this product:

    Pros:

Dual Bay Design: The ability to support both M.2 NVMe and SATA SSDs in one enclosure is incredibly convenient. It allows for easy data transfer and cloning between different types of drives.
High-Speed Performance: With USB 3.2 Gen2, this adapter delivers blazing-fast transfer speeds up to 10 Gbps. Transferring large files and backing up data is a breeze.
Versatile Compatibility: It supports a wide range of SSD sizes (2230, 2242, 2260, 2280) and both M-Key and B&M Key configurations. This makes it a versatile tool for various storage needs.
Offline Clone Function: The offline clone feature is a standout. It allows for direct cloning of drives without needing a computer, which is perfect for quick upgrades or backups.
Durable Build: The enclosure is made of high-quality materials that ensure durability and excellent heat dissipation. It feels solid and well-constructed.
Easy Setup: The installation process is straightforward, and the tool-free design makes it easy to swap out drives. It’s truly plug-and-play with no additional drivers required.
Wide OS Support: Compatible with Windows, Mac OS, Linux, and Android, making it a versatile choice for any setup.
    Cons:

None: I haven’t encountered any issues with this product. It performs flawlessly and meets all my expectations.
Overall: The M.2 NVMe SSD Enclosure Adapter is an outstanding product that combines versatility, speed, and ease of use. Whether you’re looking to upgrade your storage, clone drives, or simply need a reliable enclosure for your SSDs, this adapter is the perfect choice. Highly recommended for anyone in need of a high-performance SSD enclosure!

UPDATE: I went to use this for a 4th time, and when moving the switch to copy from SATA to SSD, it broke completely off the circuit board. Since this unit appears to be glued together, there doesn't seem to be any way to take it apart and repair. I've requested a replacement item to be sent, but now I'm questioning how long this unit will actually last.

While struggling to find a software solution that would correctly clone an older 500 GB WD drive so I could migrate to a newer 2 TB SSD, I finally decided I had to go the hardware route. This offline cloner worked perfectly for my needs! It spins up the older driver fairly quickly, and the clone process went off without a hitch. I'm happy to have an identical clone of my old drive, and could even successfully do an in place upgrade to W10 (which failed on all the software clones). If I had a complaint, it'd be that there's no cooling or heat sink available for the SSD, and I think the silicone plug used to hold the SSD in place is pretty hokey. A thumbscrew would be much more secure!
