    The positive reviews on these bulbs have to be made up. I bought a package of 4 to use in my home.They arrived without a charge, and when I screwed them into a lamp to charge them, they began to smell like burning metal and plastic. They still weren’t able to light up on their own. They’re cheap, glitch frequently, and are a waste of money from the moment they come out of the box. Do not buy these.

      I recently bought these backup battery light bulbs for my grandma, thinking they’d make her life a bit easier. She has trouble getting around, so I figured having remote-controlled emergency lights would be super handy. Sadly, these bulbs turned out to be a total train wreck.

      First off, these bulbs are supposed to sense when there’s a power outage and stay on if the switch is on. This seemed perfect for my grandma’s bathroom vanity light, making sure she’d have light even during a power cut. But in reality, these bulbs have been a total mess. They keep staying on or turning back on even after we’ve turned them off, and there’s no power outage. It’s just plain weird and super annoying. My grandma needs reliable lights, and these are anything but.

      Then there’s the dimming feature. The bulbs are supposed to be dimmable, which I thought would be nice for setting a cozy mood. But after turning the dimmer down just a couple of notches, the bulbs start flickering like a disco ball. This isn’t just irritating; it could actually be dangerous for my grandma. The last thing she needs is to be startled by flashing lights.

      Things got even weirder when I put two bulbs in adjacent sockets in her bathroom. The wall switch couldn’t control them properly—they’d just stay in whatever state they were in before flipping the switch. After fiddling around with it for a while, I realized having two bulbs on the same circuit made them interfere with each other. Neither worked right. The manual doesn’t mention this at all, so I had to figure it out myself. It’s really frustrating when the instructions don’t cover such basic problems.

      To top it off, these bulbs have a nasty habit of turning off by themselves after about 15 minutes. This “feature” isn’t mentioned anywhere in the product description or the manual. Imagine my grandma in her bathroom, suddenly plunged into darkness because the “reliable” bulb decided to shut off. That’s just unacceptable, especially for someone who needs steady, dependable lighting.

      And don’t get me started on the remote control. It’s supposed to make things easier, but it’s been more trouble than it’s worth. Sometimes, the remote can’t even turn the bulbs off when they’re flickering, leaving us no choice but to manually unscrew the bulbs to stop the flickering. What’s the point of having a remote if it doesn’t work when you need it?
