Really like these!
I got more than I expected..wanted for a dining room table display and I'm cheap I admit it..didn't like what any of the stores had.. too small or no red or just expensive! So found these and gave them a shot..and I didn't even know they had a timer feature! I turned them on when we had company and forgot to turn them off..they were off next morning and I asked my husband if he turned them off..he said nope they weren't on when he got up! COOL! BUT I wish they weren't "shiny" as candles usually aren't shiny.. not sparkly just the plastic is glossy..love the way they flicker too!. And cheaper than buying more batteries for the small whitish Yellow ones!

They are not real candles..they are battery operated frameless candles that are safer than the real thing. A good value in my opinion as I have purchased many Luminara brand candles, and paid quite a bit more money and yes, the flames on Luminarias move, but seriously these are a great alternative when you don’t want to spend $90 on three candles, which is what you would spend on Luminarias.. Not to mention you should not be putting wax candles outdoors they can melt, and they get all banged up if they fall over if it’s windy, or someone bumps into one of your lanterns.. so in my opinion, these are a good value for the buck.

    These worked great over Halloween, so I ordered white for Christmas! I have only had them for the month of October but never ran out of a battery even though I turned them on every night using the timer feature! Love the timer feature! After Halloween they got put in storage. We just brought out the white ones and are hoping they work as well. My 22-year-old daughter, loved them in our house so much she asked for the link so she could buy her own. Definitely recommend.

    I have purchased many Homery flameless candles over the last few years. Generally speaking, I find them to be great quality. This time I purchased these orange ones for Thanksgiving/Halloween decor---more for Thanksgiving really. I knew in advance that they were plastic, so I did not expect them to look that great in daylight, and I was right. They do not look good in daylight. The "flame" is bright enough and realistic enough for me. The flame movement is not realistic. It is like watching a slightly moving light inside of a fairly large container that is stationary. It just is not convincing. The amount of light is good, though.

    Another thing that has disappointed me is the colour. The orange is pretty pale for Thanksgiving/Halloween. I think it should be a bit darker than this. However, I am going to wait to see what they look like in the evening indoors. Out of daylight, in the evening light, they may look a lot more realistic. I will update this review once I know. If they look pretty good at night, I will keep them, but I may return them if they look as bad in the evening as they do in daylight.

    Other than these objections, I think they are overpriced for what they are. A fairer price would be $8-$10.

    ETA: Okay, I tried one in the dark tonight. They definitely look better in the dark than in daylight, but they still look pretty fake even in the dark, which surprised me a little.

    They are a nice size, and the amount of light given off is pretty decent. If I only paid $8 plus tax for them, I would probably keep them, but at almost $16 for six, I personally do not think they are worth it. I noticed late this afternoon that one reason they look so fake in daylight is because the plastic reflects light and looks shiny. I had my window blinds closed, but the daylight still bounced off of these and looked shiny. Real wax does not look shiny. So, even from across the room, anyone could tell they were totally fake.

    I am sending them back, but in order to do so, I have to print a label and box them up unlike other items I have returned where all I was required to do was to drop them off at the UPS store. This is an extra hassle since it requires I use paper and toner to print the label and tape to box them up.

    These may work for you depending on how you want to use them. You be the judge. If you do try them but they do not work for you, either, then know right now that you will have to print a label and box them up to send them back--extra aggravation. Really not worth it to me. Wish I had known this before I gave them a chance.
