My Samsung washer was not fully draining and spinning. I looked up the problem online and it pointed to the water pump. I purchased this replacement pump. It came with new wiring as well. I opened up the back of my washer and the pump was easily located. Have a bucket and some old towels ready as there will likely be some water come out when you disconnect the hoses from the water pump. I traced the wires and found they led under the top panel on the back. I removed this panel as well. The screws were easy to remove but the lip of the panel are tucked behind other panels, so a flathead screwdriver was needed to gently pry it out. Not really hard to do. The hoses to the old pump were easily removed. The pump is held in by two larger screws. Those were easily removed and the pump came right out. The wiring is secured in several places with ties that snap into holes in the body of the washer. A pair of needle nosed pliers helps to remove them. The wire ties on the replacement wire are pre installed and easily push into place. The wire plugs in at a location near the top. I secured everything in place, replaced the panels and hooked it up. It worked great. In all it took about an hour start to finish. Hope this helps. This pump also seems to be more quiet than the original. I’m definitely no expert and was able to easily do this myself, so save yourself the labor cost.
