I got these rope lights to add to an awning made of aluminum, where I didn’t want to put the copper wire type of string lights. The instructions are easy to figure out. They were easy to deploy. There are about eight different options for how you want the lights to look, such as running, waves, blinking, and steady on. Once you choose the setting, then it remembers so it continues to use that setting every evening. But of course you can change it later on. The lights look good and appear to last for a good number of hours every night. I would buy these again and I do recommend them.
