This is a pair of brass battery terminals that includes a pair of ant-corrosion pads, one red and one green. This type of terminal takes a lug type cable end only. We have a lot of vehicles and heavy equipment on our ranch as well as solar power systems, and many of them use copper lug connectors. As is typical, one clamp is larger and stamped with a (+), the other smaller one has a (-), and both have the typical square head bolt with a hex nut to tighten them on to the battery posts. I have to disagree with another reviewer who stated that these are not solid cast brass. I cut in to one of them and I believe that they are solid brass or brass alloy. I do however, agree with that same reviewer that these are not top end battery terminals, and so, they should be used in appropriate applications. The price is very affordable and that is a consideration. I like to apply a dab of dielectric grease to this type of terminal, to promote conductivity, and to slow corrosion due to dissimilar metals in contact. I wouldn’t hesitate to use these on a wide variety of projects, and find them to be a good value.
