This electric blanket is perfect for cool nights! The material is a super plush 100% polyester micro fiber. This one is a rich wine red color. It's large enough for one person, or two if you're cuddling! There is only one remote connected. The cord to plug in is decently long, but the distance from the remote to the blanket is only about 3 feet. Workable for most scenarios, but might be tricky if you sleep with it and expect the remote to be close by. I'm used to the blanket connection being at my feet so I don't hit it with my arms.
The remote has an on/off button, timer button, and temperature button. When powered on, you can set the auto-off from 1 hour to 4 hours (blue numbers) , there's no way to leave it running permanently. The temperature selection is on a scale of 1 to 10. It shows "L" for level 1 and "H" for level 10 using amber display. The maximum temp is 110°F. Best way to pre-heat it quickly is to crank it up to "H" then drop it down to the desired temp. I was plenty toasty at L or 2 setting for just lounging.
This is a very nice blanket, I highly recommend!
