SPF Protection in a Serum
After two days of patch tests, I’ve been using this serum in the morning. It goes on white but does dissipate once my skin absorbs it.Even though the sun isn’t very strong or even out every day here in New York, when it is shining, I try to spend at least 30 minutes outside, so it’s good to have SPF protection. It’s a small bottle (1.7 fluid ounces) and I wish either the box it came in or the product was safety sealed. I just feel more secure knowing that no one could have tampered with the product I use. That’s a major reason I never skip the patch test and do the first one on my arm, and the second one on an area on my face( I had no adverse results).This year I really want to get in the habit of applying sunscreen to my face every day. I’m already (sigh) trying to remove two dark spots which my doctor told me is from (drum roll) not consistently using sunscreen. One of my New Year’s resolutions is that I want to do better in 2023 and making this part of my morning routine is the first step. The sun is weak right now and I just hope that once spring/summer arrives it will be strong enough. So will I get another bottle? It’s a good price and I’ll keep using it until/unless it doesn’t provide enough protection. I’m so ready to start working in my garden. Soon. Very soon.
